Benefit Concert
Music for Meditation

Saturday, 8 March 2025
in Lenzerheide Community Hall

Sri Swamiji has been giving concerts worldwide for almost forty years. Up till now there have been more than 325 concerts. His music is distinctive. The essence is in the individual tones, the sound, conveying soft, meditative vibrations as well as joyful rhythmic melodies. At times Sri Swamiji's music recalls the sounds of nature. He calls it: "Music for Meditation and Healing."

In his concerts there is a blend of tradition and modern.

For this reason, Sri Swamiji chose the synthesizer as the

instrument to recreate the diversity of sounds from many

different instruments. At the same time, he orients his music to

the Raga and Tala, melody and rhythm of the Indian classical

music system, and is accompanied by a group of exceptional

musicians playing the violin, flute, tabla and mrdangam.

His music is timeless and unfolds its refreshing power when the

audience is simply receptive without being analytical.

Sri Swamiji has been awarded doctorates from the University of Bellary and the Dr Gangubai Hangal University in Mysuru for his extensive work that comprises more than two thousand compositions in several different Indian languages.

He mesmerizes audiences worldwide be it in churches, school halls or famous concert halls like the Zurcher Tonhalle, Sydney Opera House, the Royal Albert Hall, to name just a few locations. His last concert in Switzerland was in the Davos Kongresszentrum. And in the year 2025 he will enthrall us in the midst of the Swiss mountains.
